Project
The project “AWO - Academic Writing Online” developed an online course with texts, exercises and instructional videos for academic writing in German, English, Czech, Croatian, Hungarian, Slovak and Slovenian. The openly accessible course can be used in a flexible and supportive manner to help students tackle the hurdle of writing their theses much more easily. Six modules for students impart relevant skills for academic writing, while an additional continuing education module for teachers serves to help them better support students during the writing process.
Target Group
- Students of business administration (two modules for business students)
- Part-time students through flexible learning times
- Students in “second chance” education to support their writing skills
- Exchange students who can choose the course in their own language
- Teachers in higher education, who supervise students writing theses or who teach academic writing
- Students who are writing a pre-scientific work
- Teachers at schools who supervise students writing pre-scientific work
